Some prominent Black leaders are elevated or supported by powerful (often white-led) institutions in ways that limit true independence, making it harder for grassroots, community-driven Black political power to grow.

I’m not running to be a figurehead or a comfortable voice within the system. I’m running to build real, independent power for the people I serve power that isn’t controlled, filtered, or limited by anyone else.

For too long, leadership has looked like representation without transformation. I’m committed to changing that by building leadership that answers to the community not institutions and delivers real, measurable results you can see and feel.

My goal is not just to lead, but to lead independently and effectively. That means prioritizing outcomes over optics, empowering communities directly, and ensuring leadership serves the people not a system that has too often failed them.

I’m fighting for us everyday Americans who deserve safety, opportunity, and a voice that cannot be ignored. That’s what putting America first truly means.
